Telling Your Business Story Is Easy:
Because it's the Internet your business story can be brief, say a 250 word outline, to an extensive profile of 1,750 words or more, to anything in between for telling the world about your Main Street business.
We'll publish your story via our Family Business Blog, an amazingly simple process that essentially allows you to copy/paste your story into the blog's template - then click the button!
We will publish each business profile with a permanent link to it on our site. This linking benefits you with additional contacts for business. We ask you to link to us as well.
Every day your story will be seen by business owners, association executives, and media representatives. Some individual profiles receive over one hundred impressions a day, over five years after they were published.
By The Way: your profile/story can be one that was already published in a local business newspaper, an industry trade association journal, or one being created for publication here that may subsequently submitted to other media and/or added to the business owner's web site.
- After you've read the criteria below, so your story will discuss what makes your company special that other business owners want to hear about, go to www.FamilyBusinessStrategies.com and post your story.
- In the right side navigation bar about 3/4 of the way down (META section) you'll see a link to Register. We will be notified that you've registered and we will send you an email asking if you want to be 'promoted' to author status which will allow you to submit a story to our web site.
- You must reply to that email - so we'll know specifically which of our hundreds of subscribers want to tell the story of a mainstream business.
- The follow the simple instructions sent by email (after you're promoted to author) and post the profile/story and save it.
- Immediately after saving it, click on the look to the blog's home page. You will see the story live on the Internet - click on the story's title and copy the link and paste in our your web site and/or send it along to people whose opinions you value - like your trade association.
