  • Simple Flexible Database Marketing For Success!
    Everyone who has been in business for more than a week knows that creating lists of suspects, prospects, and customers is a key activity that must be done continually for as long as they are in business.

    Internet marketers harp on the importance of 'building your list' as if they invented the concept. In fact building, sorting, and maintaining a list of potential customers has been around for as long as records have been kept. Even cavemen made lists.

    When we launched this web site in 1999 database services were available to help us manage the information supplied by our prospects and organize it in a way we could use to separate high probability prospectsfrom the tire-kickers. The only problem was we could not afford it - it was priced from huge companies with unlimited budgets.

    A couple of years ago we discovered a service that is right for us and I believe might be right for you, too.

  • I love Goggle's AdSense program!

    I don't know about you but we created our web site and our newsletter and now our blog for two reasons.

    We wanted to provide as much as we could in the way of free relevant resources to our users - and do so as inexpensively (even profitably) as possible.

    Our content is what sets us apart from our competitors and causes people to trust us, opt in to our email announcement list ( by buying our cheap report) which allows us to market to them automatically by email, and contact us directly about our services.

    Secondly we wanted to add relevant content automatically on every page every day - and make money when someone selected that content.

    Making money with AdSense (for us at least) is like getting people to pay in order to get OFF the subway - rather than to get on it. People who are leaving anyway now have a relevant place to go and we make money when they do. We do nothing - except check our bank at the end of the month to see how much money we made.

    A gigantic benefit of the AdSense revolution is how entrepreneur programmers have begun creating simple programs and tools for US - not the big businesses. Plus there is a dog-eat-dog sense of competition among them that results in better and better tools at lower and lower prices.

  • Add Relevant Content To Your Web Site - For Free!
    Most of us have web sites whose content is limited to what we create ourselves (or pay someone else to create) - content that is directly relevant to the products and services we offer. Because search engines look for sites with more and more content, we wanted to add more relevant content on more pages for our prospects to find when searching online.

    It is also important to remember that we are not Internet marketers - we are consultants to owners of small privately held companies, so this process had to be as automated as possible, since there was very little time to invest in it.

    The system we found is based on web site templates, where content delivered by the system based on key words we select is used to automatically populate the pages. In theory this is a one-time thing but I have found reasons to update them more than once and the template and the system working together make this a 10 minute task.

    Fortunately we had already bought some easily customizable templates for our new blog, so using the web site version that came with the package made the process virtually instant.

    Using the included video instructions we quickly inserted our AdSense code, Amazon code, and a link to our report (to build our list) into the system - clicked the mouse and minutes later we had a bunch of keyword specific articles uploaded and linked to our original web site.   • Establish a blog, add additional relevant content daily
    Blogs allow us to add content easily, and new content is one of the things the search engines consider when they rank our web site. But a blog seemed so complicated.

    One of the really good things that came as a direct result of visiting an Internet marketer's web site and requesting information - was that I began to get email from them and sometimes their friends about products they knew I just had to have.

    So, again quite by accident, I received an email and visited a web site of yet another Internet guru Guido Stiehle who had put together a free WordPress blogging tutorial. It was fabulous, easy to understand and simply to implement.

    He even included some templates (called themes) that had already been optimized for the search engines and included a place to drop in our AdSense code. Once I watched his free videos and followed his simple instructions - we were up and running in no time!

    As everybody knows, timing is everything. While we were watching Guido's tutorials I heard about a new and unique service that would allow us to create content in batches that would be posted automatically in the future.

    In a nutshell we were able to chose from over a quarter of a million articles, selected by us based on our keyword parameters - insert our various codes into the system and bingo we had a stream of new posts for our blog stretching our months into the future.

    Once they were uploaded (using the very straightforward instructions) we did not have to do anything to have articles posted regularly based on the schedule want.

    Now we and others post their stories to our blog as we can and as they will. But even if we are all on vacation we know that new customized content is being added automatically.

    The most amazing thing is that every post contains our unique "Tips!" - to gently remind readers why they should investigate our services while they're there. And we were able to swap in the custom template we had chosen from those we bought to tie it all together and give a more coordinated look and feel to the combination of our web site and our blog.

  • Use Your Own Stories To Promote Your Message Online!
    If you "Google" my name you'll see hundreds of links, many of which are related to articles I have written that have been promoted for me around the world - without me having to do anything except write the story in the first place.

  • Our Internet Strategy Summarized!

    Here is how I am putting it all together.

    I use twenty first century conference calls promoted by trade associations to put thousands of business owners "in the room" on a regular basis. The system does not require anyone to opt-in so people tell their colleagues and the associations are happy to promote them.

    In my case the subject of the calls is how they can achieve their objectives with a little help from their friends - simply by participating in self-managed peer groups.

    People on the call, listening online live, or to the recording can opt-in to my list by buying my report with details about how to establish and manage their peer group.

    The report buyers are now in my database marketing system for automated follow up - giving them many reasons and opportunities to contact me.

    Those who do contact me become part of a peer group I facilitate - which is where I make my money.

    No matter what business you're in you can meet people in large groups via a conference call system that lets them select themselves into a sub-group of high probability prospects, with an automated database marketing system that will move them along from stranger to first, then second level customers - until they identify themselves as key accounts.
