In my book "Don't Bring It to Work" (Jossey Bass) I discuss how we all bring patterns from our original organization, the family to work with us. Family business, ahhh, that is for those who signed on for the advanced placement class in life.
I grew up in a family business where my father and his two brothers fought all the time. My grandfather was an avoider who just ignored the tension.I was 14 when my father died suddenly from a heart attack the day after he told my mother,"I'm done with all the stress and arguing with my family."
I implore all in family business to get to the heart of the bickering, it could save a life!

I think there is no one person with sufficient experience and ability to succeed in the life without the cooperation with other people. Its true that starting or joining a mastermind group can provide business support, resources and accountability to promote the business as well as it is important for business owners to find a mastermind group that meets their specific needs and desires.

It’s true.
Leadership is about leading others. I my opinion the most important role of a leader is helping her organization to develop passion and energy.

Why? Because any business needs passion and energy in order to deliver extraordinary results.

How? The leader must be an example of that passion, commitment, dedication and enthusiasm himself. He also must maintain a company culture which endorses taking responsibility. This will result in employees’ passion and energy.
