About Our Blog
In the beginning we created http://www.ibizresouces.com/ as a resource portal for established business owners interested in knowing how to leverage their traditional business on tan opt-in email newsletter delivering ideas and strategies the Internet. We were convinced then, 1999, that these mainstream companies would be the ones left standing after the inevitable dot com bust. We wanted to show them how they could use this quickly developing media to reach out beyond their traditional marketing area and how they could leverage their existing resources into a 24/7/365 world. We got the word out via our double opt-in email newsletter. By the time our subscription had reached 22,363 business owners we were ready to move on. Our initial objective, force feeding individuals used to the traditional methods of doing business - into realizing there was an alternative to “the way we’ve always done it.” We felt a blog that regularly supplied insightful actionable strategies was a better way. No more email newsletter. Each of you will figure out which parts of the content you’re interested in and how often you want to take advantage of it. The blog’s postings will be made by us for the time being - plus selected content from a vast database of content described on the “Our Content Comes From…” page below. We encourage comments from you today and will open up the posting opportunities to business owners and professionals serving the universe of family owned and privately held companies just as soon as possible. Stay tuned! We have now moved the thousands of articles already in our archives or the many success profiles of Main Street business owners because thousands and thousands of people refer to them every month. And hundreds of web sites and associations have links to them. There are links to the pages in the Resources area in the nav bar. Naturally we continue to be available via telephone and email, for questions and inquiries. Feel free to contact me directly at cwallace(@)ibizresources.com. The address is not clickable - to keep the bad guys from sending me their junk. As always, there is no obligation. All the best!
