So you are getting married! Congratulations. But what are you planning for your big day? The same old formal invites the same themes and the same standard cuisine? Now do not panic. You have every right to go for the classic wedding plans, but why not go for some interesting ideas to have a wedding of a lifetime? After all, you would want people to remember your wedding as the ‘wow’ wedding! These ideas need not cost you too much; all you need is some creativity. Why not get your friends and family together and brainstorm? After all, people can always come up with some interesting ideas that might actually work!

If you are the groom and you sing really well, why not woo your woman in public? Walk down the aisle and take your vow musically. People might be taken aback but your bride will later love you for doing all that for her! Choose from different themes. The fairytale is the dream wedding for any girl, but if your girl is game for something exciting, do it! Ditch the confetti and go for releasing live birds! Have a beach wedding or take your vows on a jungle safari. Go bungee jumping and scream out your vows mid-air. Try anything wild! There are so many wedding games you all could come up with, to keep the guests entertained. Participate actively and have all the fun you can.

Go all out with wedding invitations in terms of creativity. Have fun images on your card, for example, a cartoon of the bride pulling the guy along by his necktie! Or list out all the stupid things you might end up tolerating in him or her and finally go mush in the last few lines. Then invite the guests warmly. Have your wedding on the tallest skyscraper in your city or on a plane and live out the experience of the cloud number nine! Why, even a hot air balloon would be a perfect setting. Or get married at the place where you first met, say the amusement park!

These are just a few ideas that can get you started. Of course, take into account the preferences of the guests, not all would be comfortable coming over to a steaming volcano just to see you getting married! Choose interesting combinations of destination, theme and the program and you can have a wild wedding!
